A short set for the mercs

I sure would like to see a short set for the merc group. Many of us agree on this and its been asked both to you and BJ .But still no set. Is there a chance ?

Should it be the traditional 1941-1945 "short set'"

or the more logical 1940-1945 set,

or the traditional 1934 cut-off date from the BU roll days of the 1960's, i.e. a 1934-1945 set,

or maybe a 1930-1940 set,

how about a 1935-1945 10 year set, oops, I guess I mean 1936-1945 10 year set.

I'm not making light of the short set idea, I just want everyone to realize that short sets are contrived. If the Registry participants want them, we'll do them.

We will be looking at all the short sets after BJ and I complete the weighting of Type sets and complete sets.
