How long can you go - - -

without posting to this forum?

And how long can you go without adding a new coin to your hoard?

I went a month and a half without posting.
During that time I sure picked up a lot of neat coins though.

Good to be back!

Always,
Coulport.
The most money I made are on coins I haven't sold.

Got quoins?

  • Nice to see you back, Coulport.

Longest I've gone is three weeks, when we had company. I did buy a couple of coins during that time, though.

    Most acquisitions were US coins.
Probably the best foreign coin was a Vatican States 1870 5 Lira in XF.
One shop had 10 double row boxes of foreign coins. The British coins were mostly run of the mill. No killer coins from there this trip. My main focus was African countries which is in constant demand on my lists.

    I wondered where you went!

I can go about 12 hours without posting here, and a little longer without adding something to my collection.

Nice to see you back, Bob.

I think I went almost a month without posting, once. And there are times when I go a week or two without adding to the hoard.

But when I am doing either of those, I do it with a vengeance! image

    Ditto on that!!!!

I've gone a few days without posting, but that must have been a long time ago. Now I get DTs within 12 hours or so. I can go weeks or months without buying, but that hasn't occured recently either. Usually it's a week or two between purchases, basically whenever I get paid I spend it all on coins.

Hi my name is Bill. It has been 3 months since my last meeting and yes I am a Darksideaholic. I can't not stay away from this place for more than 10 hours at a time. The last time I went a week without a new coin purchase escapes my memory. image

I can go for a little while. I would post more but I just haven't found any good darkside stuff lately. So not much to do but admire what others have purchased.

I can avoid buying new coins for months at a time. Unfortunately, when I buy that first coin after a hiatus, it turns into a flood of them, always worse than the last time. Buying that Victoria type set really opened the floodgates!

It's fun here. Lots to read and learn even if I don't "speak."

  • I don't actually post too much here but I read almost everything. I haven't added anything new to my collection in a few weeks.

Have added three more coins this week. Ordered three more by mail. It's an addiction, I tell you!

If they ever take me to a "rehab" clinic, one of you guys come break me out - - - PLEASE!!!!

I read almost everything posted here, except some of the pic posting threads require HUGE amounts of time for this crummy dial-up, so they are a 'pain' to download.....but then, that's PAIN I like!! image
