Wow - a single coin away from PERFECT!! That's an incredible accomplishment, especially at this point in the life of the Registry. Congrats!!

Congratulations! I'll bet that was a tough set to put together. Only one coin better for your regular set.image

    Thanks guys!

The numbers are a little deceptive since DCAM pops don't show if you have a CAM in the set.

The coins out there that would upgrade me are:

1966 - there is one DC out there
    1967 - one 68 DC and one 69DC image

    Varieties:

    1968 No S - mine is 68, but there are 2 68CAM's out there
1970 No S - mine is 68CAM, but there are 2 69CAM's out there image

Anybody want to unload one of these coins????

    I just aquired a 1966 MS69 SMS Roosie 3/0. I will keep this 1 for a while.

    plus a Very Cool

Quite an impressive run of 70 DCams. What's going to be your next focus?

Paul, surely that 69 has a little cameo on it?

CoolKarma, My proof wheat Lincolns are a continual project. I just recently decided to finish out the Memorials. I have no PR70DC's in that set, and only wanted PR69DC's or as nice as I could get (read as "reasonably priced"). I'm not through with that set, as I have a few upgrades and varieties to find.

My other big project is a type set. Those classic coins are beautiful, but there are too many beautiful ones out there. What I am doing with this set is to find an interesting piece from each set. One that is remarkable in some fashion such as being extremely rare, extremely beautiful, or one that tells an interesting historical story. There are some expensive coins in the set, and some inexpensive coins in the set -- but the set is all about the coins that are important to me, and I really get a lot of pleasure out of it.

  • Congratulations!

Proof Lincolns and a type set will certainly keep you busy in the future image
  • I can only look in envy, I am slowing climbing the ladder ( no. 20 at the moment ) but the heights of the top five are unlikely especially this distance from the US.
    Well Done.

    Correction have moved to Eighteen.

    DMWJR,
Yes you are correct, this 1966 MS69 SMS has some cameo, but not enough to designate it. It looks flawless to me and it has the most defined looking hair that I've ever seen on a Roosevelt Proof or MS.

    Merry X-mas,
