Finally completed a set...

I am now the happy, proud owner of a full set of raw Eisenhower Dollars. Boy is it nice to complete a set.

Congratulations, but it isn't a set of Mercury Dimes.

Thank you!
My next coin endeavor is to complete my set of slabbed statehood quarters (but that won't happen for another 5 years). I am also working on compiling a set of raw Kennedy Half Dollars, but I'm not quite sure where I am at with that right now.

<< <i>Earlier this year I completed a set of Kennedy's. Got about 80%, many AU's from bank rolls. It's a relatively inexpensive set to complete, if raw. >>
That's what I plan on doing once I really get into it. Haven't really started concentrating on it yet, but probably after the holidays.
<< <i>Silver eagles are a great short set also. >>
I started my SAE collection with 1994 and have one from every year to the present. I plan on getting one each year my husband and I are married.
<< <i>Another set that is fun to start (besides the already mentioned SBA's and Kennedy's) is collecting proof sets. Work your way backwards from present and you could get pretty deep into the set before it gets really expensive. >>
I have from 2003 back as far as 1955 right now. It is real fun.
<< <i>You going to do the 40% silvers? >>
Haven't decided yet.
<< <i>Have fun building your sets because that is what this hobby is all about. Having Fun. >>
Absolutely right. This hobby is foir having fun and if I ever find myself not having fun and enjoying it, I will tempararily hang it up.
Thanks for all the comments. You folks are the best.

I'm far better at beginning sets than completing them.
