    Beth,

Congratulations, but it isn't a set of Mercury Dimes. image

    Thank you!

My next coin endeavor is to complete my set of slabbed statehood quarters (but that won't happen for another 5 years). I am also working on compiling a set of raw Kennedy Half Dollars, but I'm not quite sure where I am at with that right now.

  • Congrats!!!!!! Hmmm without a slab they all lok naked!
  • Earlier this year I completed a set of Kennedy's. Got about 80%, many AU's from bank rolls. It's a relatively inexpensice set to complete, if raw.

    Check PM
  • labmom,

I have begun my collection of Iks, Mostly done with my SBA's in raw form. The only one not in my book are the Type II proof of 79 and 81.

I got my last SBA this weekend and it is a good feeling to be done with what I set out to do

    Next Hill Please

Congratulations on your first set. Silver eagles are a great short set also. Another set that is fun to start (besides the already mentioned SBA's and Kennedy's) is collecting proof sets. Work your way backwards from present and you could get pretty deep into the set before it gets really expensive.
Some coins are just plain "Interesting"
  • Congrats, Labmom. You going to do the 40% silvers?

That's what I plan on doing once I really get into it. Haven't really started concentrating on it yet, but probably after the holidays.

I started my SAE collection with 1994 and have one from every year to the present. I plan on getting one each year my husband and I are married. image

Congratulations! How long did it take from start to finish?

I'm far better at beginning sets than completing them.image
