Canadian 1870 5 cents, rotated die or Normal?

First, Thank you all for the Book recommendations.

All of my Canadian coins are the same, as in obverse & reverse position except my 1870 nickel. It's like a U.S coin, you have to flip it head over heels to keep the reverse upright. Rotated Die or Normal?
I ordered a Charlton Catalogue of Canadian Coins, but its not here yet.
Thanks,
Glenn

Oh. I get it, now. You mean a silver 5c piece, right? Little guy?

  • I'll have to check when I get home but I think they were made that way until 1907.

Interesting, maybe boring, piece of info on the Canadian 5c silvers. Ever notice how so many of these are bent? They were used as screw drivers when a real one wasn't handy.
