OT Ebay Buyer Resurfaces EDIT NARU + NARU AGAIN

Hi
A guy went NARU a few months back owing me around $1200. Another account went owing me about $50. Now he has resurfaced under a new name. I notice it has taken a week for him to pay me $20+.

Regardless of the latter how can I report him to Ebay. Believe me it will be a better place without him.

Lloyd

  • Lloyd,
I think you have a maximum of 90 days from auction ending to report fraud to eBay. I can have a little search if it might help.

In the meantime, the best thing to do is to block this buyer.

The best thing that could happen here is a non-pay IMO. The final price on the coin was way too low -lower than EF market.

Hi Newbie - wasn't looking to insult you - was just pointing out to ajaan that in his case there might be a silver lining to his bargain copper.

If he pays for this one, you ought to tell him you'll ship when he pays you the $1250 he owes you from the other two auctions he defrauded you on.

Ajaan, in my ultimate generosity, I'll also offer to help you out in this matter. I'll beat the other offers and pay $40 for that old coin.

  • IT was probably a load of people complaining they had no contact with the guy.... Look at his 30 day bidding history and then check the number of feedbacks.

This happened under one of the other names - there were like 15 pages of CURRENT live bids going on. The guy did pay me $650 for one load of auctions but that took a month. The next lot was $1400 (not $1200 mentioned in error above). And I didn't see a dime. Kept the coins though but I rely on money fast with three kids.

As far as my auctions are concerned - well you need a brain to hurt them. If you were this guy would you have bid on one of my auctions ?

Good riddance to him, but he'll be back, no doubt, with another id.

Did this guy bid on one of your items?

    Merry Christmas, Lloyd!

  • Yes Wybrit,,,, and he paid. That's how I know who it is..... can't forgive for obvious reasons listed earlier in the thread..

This seems to be his "clean" account but it will go NARU in a few days.... Bidding on loads of items with insufficient funds and half a brain.

    Later

PS -- this account bought a coin of aethelred on 15 December if I recall correctly...
