It's important on these to ensure your reeding matches the count normally seen on the Philly coins. I'm sure many 64-s dimes have had the "s" machined off to simulate the rarer Philly piece.

  • Roadrunner is absolutely correct.

Spend $25 for the ANACS five day service and get that booger authenticated. I follow every seated dime on Ebay and I can promise you that having it in the slab will bring twice the money.

No one trusts the 63 to 67 Philadelphia dimes in low grade because so many had the "S" machined off decades ago and have retoned. ANACS is a cheap, quick way to make everyone comfortable that the coin is genuine.

In the slab that baby will sell for $400 bucks. Out of the slab it will go for closer to $200.

    Good luck.
    Go well.
