$10 bill error?
I received a $10 bill today...that appears to have the front printed on the back. The front of the bill looks like a normal $10 bill.
Hope that makes sense?
How unusual is this type of error?
Thanks

FYI - post this in the currency forum and put a scan on it; it will help a lot.
thanks and congratulations if you found an error.
The sides are printed one side at a time, and if a sheet of paper fails to go through the press, the image will go from the cylinder with the ink onto the other cylinder, leaving the inky impression which is then transferred to the next sheet through the press. So both sides will have the same image...does that make sense? Vulcan mind melds are so much simpler.

The back of the bill has the normal reverse print...then the front is also printed over that.
The front of the bill looks the same as a normal bill.
So, you have a normal front, and a back with another copy of he front printed over it, in reverse.
