I know this is not a coin item, but just thought you might want to know that banks must be getting the new 2003 series 2$ bills. I got 10 sequential serial numbered UNC ones today.

They are worth $2, there are no premiums to them.

Sequential numbers may be worth hanging on to for about 20 years...they might have a $3-$4 value per note then. As singles, I doubt they will reach over $2 a note for at least 30-40 more years. Far too many made, and far too many people saving them thinking they are valuable.

Oh, yes.... I was not trying to say they were valuable but rather they recently released the 2003 series ones. I just like collecting bills as well as coins so I got some sequential ones to put in my collection.
