BIGJACK......I really don't know what it is worth, which is why I asked for an offer.
I do know the offers here of $74 and $75 from these 2 fine gentlemen is probably a tenth of what this coin is really worth.
I recently sold a 1973S MS66RD Lincoln (Pop 32/0) for $477.00. With this coin having a Pop of 10/0, I would think it would be worth more, how much, I don't know.
I appreciate the 2 offers here. It has started my day off with a smile and a laugh.
5 to 6 sounds about right....I was thinking of offering $400 and I'm a bit cheap. If you don't have luck elsewhere PM me.

Roger: You just missed one go off on ebay for slightly over $200!! "Big spender"

P.S. Roger - want the "deal of a lifetime" - I have a lot of (80) PCGS-MS68RD Lincolns currently sitting at around 50 cents per coin on ebay - go try to "steal" them.

%#&*^#$(*%^...would it kill you to link to your auction?
Hmmm....ok maybe my new offer is $225 for the coin ...what a steal someone got there. That's what happens with memorials on eBay now that I work for a living.

Have you shipped that out yet? Maybe you need to "lose" it and have to refund the buyer. JUST KIDDING of course...
Yeah I don't have time to spend 18 hours per day on eBay anymore...and that's not the only good thing about my new job.

I was perfectly comfortable being "on the hook"...now all you're doing is running me up. Maybe jacktheknife can chime in and say a few words about how much fun it is to bid against me.
Someone let me know when there are three seconds left so I can "snipe" it...

I'll do just that! If Roger is in the hunt going down the homestretch, look out. Almost all the major snipes that have nailed me on ebay were masterminded by good old RELLA. I'm just waiting for the opportunity to return the favor
Mhnies: With all due respect, IMHO, you should offer a return privilege (however short) on a coin you are selling on this board to a board member. Why should a board member be required to keep a coin(non-bullion) he purchases off this board if he does not like it? I have personally never heard of a board member being unhappy with a purchase made on this board from another board member, but, I have also never heard of someone offering a coin here with no return privilege. Just my 2 cents.

Just now I was holding in my hands a very nice Lincoln, and one that I'm sure you would really like to own. I don't own this particular example....yet. It made me think.....
I was mostly wondering if you're ready to really step up to the plate or if I'm just going to end up starting my own little mini-hoards of a few dates.

What do you mean, "Step up to the plate"?? I've been stepping up to the plate big time in the past eight months. During that time, I have put together what you see in my set. From #89 on 3/3/03 to #32 with 71% completion and 68.44 GPA. The only BIG coin I have passed on in putting this set together was a wonderful 17-S from Andy in 65RD. That, in retrospect, was a mistake. Let me assure you, I'm still stepping up to the plate as I type this reply. So, whatcha got? Either put it out here or PM me.
Just giving you grief...I keep outsniping you but always for the same coins. So I'm sure you could guess what coin I was talking about.

YOU HAVE RELLA (ROGER) IN THE WRONG DEPT. WHILE HE IS AN OUTSTANDING RARE COIN CATALOGER, YOU NEED TO MOVE HIM TO THE COIN PURCHASING DEPT.

Wow....First 400....then 225.....now 325.......
I appreciate your offers but they have made my stomach feel
like I have been on a roller coaster ride.
I really think I should wait until the bidding settles a bit before
letting this coin go.
Someone else might bid 800....then 525....and then 700.....
Thanks
It was my 1974-s in ms 67 that went to cheap!(212.49)

If it's the 36-S, I'm pretty sure I have one on the way from the Baltimore show. At least that's what I was promised.
