I scored this Ike over the weekend! The multiple bids were because I was gone for the weekend and wouldn't be able to ward off snipers. So, do you think it will cross to PCGS?

Has a BAD mark between the B & E of liberty and some rim dings. Scratch on cheek.
My guess B.B.
One GOOD thing, I know NOTHING about Ikes.

Glenn - I'm thinking that the "BAD" mark between "B" and "E" is unattractive, but that the size of the scan accentuates it. The "scratches" on the cheek are probably due to to a planchet flaw which is fairly typical for Ikes.

Richard - I've scanned dollars and the marks always seem worse in the scan than on the actual coin. Personally, I'm thinking that it could possibly 63, though a 62 wouldn't be too bad for the price either.

Agflyer: (planchet flaw) Your right, I looked at some other Ikes & allot of them have that rough cheek!
You are right again, I did not take into account the enlarged scan.
Wow, a simple little thread and I learned a little more about pictures and Ikes.
May I please retract that B.B. and change it to a 62.

I did, though, have a slight advantage over you since I at least had a few days to ponder the scenario of the condition, scan, etc. The description that the seller made is what helped seal the deal for me. If it's as good as he describes, I think I'll be happy!

I think it would cross no problem. I would crack it out however and send it in raw. It just seems that people have better results doing it that way...That was a nice score btw, I never even saw it. Hmmm, I need to keep a closer watch...
