    Rich,

Sorry, I don't collect half dimes, but I love those little coins! I do have an 1858/1858 seated dime. I keep my eyes open at shows I would at some point like a 1858 inverted date to go along with it. Cool series. Do you care to elaborate on your series?

I actually stumbled on them while working on my Lincolns and Mercs. I found them to be a nice sidebar to those series and it has been slowly taking more of my time away from other coins. It kinda nice to work on a non-nuclear series. I'm currently looking at all of the dates, however, I'll probably focus on the 1837-1873 part first.

I'm currently woking on images right now. I hope to start updating all of my collections this winter season.

I collect half dimes by date, but I do not have a registry set of them as they are not graded. I do have a few PCGS graded half dimes.

The only half dime I own is an 1852-O in mint state, raw. I'm not going to grade it higher than MS 60. My father found it in a castle in Germany during W.W. II, inside a very elaborate desk. He used his bayonet
to open up the desk, and found this little gem. Someday I'll send it off to NCS for conservation ...who knows, it might even grade MS 66. I'm not into the series, its too small --- sorry guys...

People give me grief that Rosy dimes are too small (ya know how they just slip thru your fingers) but those 1/2 dimes are even smaller....and they always seem to bend so easily! I just sold a bunch of pretty XF/AU rainbow toned 1/2 dimes to a Board member.
