I had to relist because I didn't put in the right quantity and when someone bought that one it ended the previos item# I'm trying to learn to cut/copy and paste so please bear with me! Now you can cut-n-paste, apparently. That is the first step.
Now...
Type in: {L=Boom's Charity Auction}and paste your URL here{/L}
Except you will type square brackets [ ] where I typed the curly brackets { }.
Make sure your URL appears between {L=Boom's Charity Auction} and {/L}, with no extra spaces.
And once again, type square brackets instead of curly brackets. Obviously, I could not type the square brackets in my demo, or I would have created a (nonworking) link.
Everyone else, please bear with us while I teach Boom how to link. We were doing this on the Testing Forum but got shut out (I had no idea Testing Forum threads were limited to 9 posts, or whatever- did they do that to stop cheaters?)

blah blah blah
C'mon, Boom, paste the URL into a reply...
I'm waaaaaaaiiiiiiiiiitttttiiiiinnnnggg!
OK, we'll go with the shorter way of posting a link, now. (I didn't wanna confuse you earlier- one thing at a time.)
Copy your URL.
When you are in message post mode, click on the tab that says "http". (Not "https"). It has a little chain-link picture next to it:
A box will appear saying, "Script Prompt: URL for the Link". Paste your URL in there. Click OK.
Another box will appear. You type whatever you wanna call your link in that box. (For example, "Boom's Charity Auction", or "Accugrade Sux" or "Cajun-Fried Frog Boogers For Sale", whatever. Click "OK" again.
You should be in business.
I'm goin' home from work now but should be back on after a bit. I expect to see you either posting links by the time I get back, or practicing like hell.
