    Overgraded. image Should be PO-1 with some nice gouges on it. Although I think it is comical when the seller says "It trends for $$2,000 in AG. This coin should be worth almost that much."

    Yeah, it might trend for that if this coin was even close to AG...

    Not that I know all that much.... but even a newbie like me can say that coin is not worth what he's asking. It's very faint, just doesn't jump out at ya IMO.image

    As desirable as chain cents are in virtually any grade, I would avoid that particular piece due to the heavy scratches, deep cuts and gouges, and a very porous planchet. Although it's difficult to find completely problem free low grade chain cents with a nice planchet, that one just has too many issues.
