Need price advice, 1913 $2.5 toned

What is a fair price to offer for a MS-62 NGC 1913 $2.5 with red (not faint red, either) toning? It has some kind of debris trapped, too, in the holder on the lower part of the obv. Not sure if it is a residue (kind of looks like a remnant of something sticky). I feel the grading is OK, but looking to get a feel for the value of the coin.

Nope, it's at my local coin shop's place. He wouldn't let me take it home to evaluate it. The debris I mentioned doesn't strike me as being an alteration. More of a thing getting accidentally slabbed.

Suggestions to think about:

1) Do you like it?

2) Did you have good enough lighting in the shop to decide?

3) Actually, if you have to THINK about it then you probably don't really like it.

Color is neat on gold but this "debris" you mention might be a problem BUT if you like the coin who the hell cares? All coins are worth something so make a low ball offer if you like it.
