Can I use a SMS Roosey for the 20'th century circulating strike registry set? It seems easier to find a 1967 SMS Roosey in 68 than some other dates... I thought I saw a '94 SMS Jeff in 69 FS in someone set...

I don't see why not? You can always try adding the cert and letting the system answer that for you.

My understanding is no. Except in the "with Variations" set, you need an SMS piece, either a nickel or half dollar.
Edited to add: And this is what they allow - SMS Piece (1994 or 1997 Nickel or 1998-S Half Dollar)
The SMS I have is in the "with Variations" set, in a slot just for an SMS coin. I don't know why it allows only the nickel and half dollar. Here's what it says you can enter into the SMS slot... SMS Piece (1994 or 1997 Nickel or 1998-S Half Dollar)
Jefferson Nickel - (1938-1999) 84230 5C SMS MS69FS 405 3
Or maybe both should be allowed.
Anyway currently one is allowed ('94 SMS Jeff) and the other (1966 SMS Roosey) isn't. So that set is inconsistent.
Seems logical to me. Like the example I PMed you regarding the CA/DC bonuses.
Have you emailed BJ?
