I bought a minor coin on EBay (<$10 delivered), and in the course of checking it out and buying it I gave the seller some information about the dates on some Japanese coins he had in other auctions. Imagine my surprise when my purchase arrived, accompanied by a note thanking me for the help and telling me that he had enclosed some "extras".
They were a 1916 silver Egyptian 10 Piastres, KM#319:
a 1901 cu-ni Brazil 200 reis, KM#504:
a 1927 bronze Palestine 2 mils, KM#2:
and the 1845 East India Company Straits Settlement copper 1 cent that Brad helped me identify the other day, KM#3:
