I know somebody has created a link-making tutorial for newbies, right?

Has nwcs or one of those talented with making those great tutorials educated with screenshots done one on links? Somebody else has asked for help with that again, and while I can explain it, it would be much nicer to say, "here's a great tutorial with pictures".
Stuff like posting images and creating links is very easy to do, but very difficult to explain. And those of us who have gotten up the learning curve too often forget what it was like when we ourselves were newbies fumbling around.
