The fields are thick and rich medium mirrors. There appears to be some dust in places (not cloudiness), but this can only be seen under glass (i.e. the photos) Raw, these coins just plain poke your eyes out!

The swirls on the jaw and lapel of each one are a testament that they all thre came from the same die. All of the die polishing lines are identical, especially one in the eye socket which is very pronounced.

The PCGS grades and my comments will be posted later

I had a tough time picking between #2 and #3. I went for #3 because I thought I saw fewer marks there, althought the frost does appear to be a tiny bit nicer on the #2 coin.

It's hard to distinguish between the three- that's a beautiful set of triplets you have there!

mgoodm3 and LM... I was going to vote for #3 also, until I noticed the spot in the field behind Lincoln's head.

Man, they're all superb. I personally prefer coin #3, even though coin #2 has better contrast and darker fields. I like #3 primarily because of the even color and clean fields. The light discoloration behing the head isn't enough to bother me. I suppose coin 2 is the technically superior coin, but I just like the look of coin #3.

All very nice . It is difficult to separate in photo format because of potential light differences. I would favor #2 for strong strike and cameo ; #3 seems to be a little weaker strike in coat area.

I think #2 is the best of the three, but I wouldn't kick #1 or #3 out of bed, so to speak

It's always hard to tell from photos. I took them at the same time in the exact same lighting/setup. I haven't figured out how to get larger pictures on to the boards without having my own web space to link to, so that was the best I could do. All three coins are very nice, and I appreciate your honest opinions on the coins.
