Would an NGC ms 66 1862 IHC......

be considered "registry Set" quality? Pop is 23/3.....

I ask this over on the registry forum, but they don't talk too much over there...

    What does "registry Set" quality mean? Sounds like a eBay ad image
    As far as I know coins just need to be in a pcgs holder to qualify for the pcgs registry.

    Registry set quality is a misnomer. Don't forget there are registry sets with the goal being the lowest grade possible! The important thing is to collect what you like and can afford and not worry about where you "rank" in the registry.

    Are you starting a NGC "registry" set?? Collecting at the MS66 level would cost you a small fortune!image

    PCGS registry quality means the coin is in a PCGS holder and can be entered in to the PCGS registry. Any grade, and look will suffice.
