Hey Roosevelt Dime Fans--FB Price Guide?

Is there any information on prices yet for the new FB designated Roosevelt Dimes? If so, can someone set up a link to it?

Thanks,

Tony

  • I would say that your best guide right now is what you know
Prices have been all over the place
If you sell a top pop your going to get bucks
Second string coins get a kick in the teeth

    Fcloud,
IMHO I think prices are very..."all over the place"...if I do say so.

For instance I sold a 1989-D MS68 for $200.00 less then a month ago and just 10 days ago, give or take a day, I seen 1 sell for about $60.00. I think its about who happens to be bidding at the time and who wants the coin bad enough. I think deals are to be made if you wait long enough and be patient while looking for the right dime.

The market is all over the place, I have bought coins one week and lost money the next. On the other hand I have bought some winners. I think the prices will stabilize when all the dust settles. There are a few big guns out there right now with money to burn ( all are nice guys) but unlimited resources to spend. They all want to be the first with a complete full band set, but there will be plenty of bargains if your not looking for top pops.

    Mistercoinman,
Your post is right on the money! You have been VERY active with the Roosevelts and your set is great! There are a few "choice" collections being built by some very nice guys with alot of undiscretionary funds, but I'm not 1 of them. I have bought a few select dimes here and there, but plan on being VERY choosey with my purchases. I still ask myself if it was the right idea to unload all of my NON-FB Roosies while IMHO I thought that the Bottom will/has fallen out of that market, but only time will tell.

By the way when are you going to get to 100%image

  • The Fullband market is still to young
to say what will happen, give it another 6 to 12 months and see where
the pops are, the pops will have the most impact on the price, along with demand
The silver market is a little more stable than the clads, they are all over the place
