Need help - original skin?

Folks,
I need some assistance from some experts in silver. I am interested in a Barber dime that is original and undipped. I have seen some awesome coins with that original "crusty" luster. I made the mistake of buying some dipped-out type coins in my early collecting days and want to avoid that again.

I have the chance to buy the coin below and thought the surfaces looked original, but I am always paranoid about buying 100 year old silver coins that are white. I like the look of this coin though. Do you think this looks original and undipped? The luster doesn't looked stripped but I want opinions. Let me know if you think this is original.

Thanks guys. Gold is more my specialty. I'll wait for one that isn't blast white, then I can avoid the whole dip situation.

That luster is definitely sub par and no question dipped at least once and likely more than that. No real "fire" to it. On some orig pieces you'll see grainyness to the texture of the luster, sort of look goosebumps. Those kinds of coins are truly crusty. Most whitish orig skin coins of gem quality will have absolutely no change in the luster depth from one end of the coin to the other, likewise as the luster flows across Liberty's face, neck, cap and hairline. You can easily see from the scan that the luster in her eye socket and around the Legends has a nice full shimmer to it. Her face is a dull silvery look which is saying, the luster is probably 50% stripped on the high points. The luster should not change much at all from the protected areas to the open areas. Such a coin was moderately handled (yes, even circulated....oh my!) or lightly bathed over its life.
