Mercury Dime 31D double die.

Do any of you own one of these or have you even checked to see if your 31D is a Double Die coin ? PCGS does not recognize this I believe.

I had one at one time, in fact I submitted it to ANACS and got the designation, then I sold it. The coin has very little premium price wise but its cool to see the designation on a holder.

I just checked and I don't have the 31-d double die, but I do have the (even more subtle) 31-s double die

My old eyes would not be able to see the doubling on a example with that much wear.

I had a rough time with the Mint State one I had.
