As a Missourian, I would take that design any day of the week over the one we actually got.

No they aren't his but those were all actual rejected designs for the quarters. It's too bad some of these weren't chosen over what we actually got. (I do like the CT and MA designs that were selected though. But these two would have been acceptable as well.)

Each one of those is far supirior to the chosen design, that's just too bad that the powers to be at the mint are so myopic.

I really like the Minnesota quarter, although I imagine that there are several states that could argue over which should use that design.

I agree that Minnesota has huge mosquitoes, but Alaska has the largest ones of any state!!
