Early Copper Emission Sequences for MacCrimmon

Sorry Mac, I couldn't resist image. Actually, I'm one of the few who don't believe in emission sequences (other than the obvious die chains), so you'll rarely hear me speak on this other than to debunk it. Why don't this work? Cause the Mint used 2 presses for most coinage. Ergo, you have 2 varieties emitting at the same time. Kinda kills the overall emission sequence idea don't it? The "emission boys" who like to do fancy calcs (figures don't lie, but liars can figure) really don't like it when I trot out the Mint records on multiple press use. They want another opinon - OK; you're stupid, and you'r mother's ugly too! image
