Congratulations. Hey, quick question: Is the 1971-P in MS66 RED a tough coin?
  • braddick,

71-P in 6 is a nothing coin. In 7 it is around pop 23 & about $250 or so plus or minus.

    Glen,

Congrats. I beleive it is a pop 5 unless you know something I don't. Are you selling? Last one sold on eBay (when it was a pop 4) for $1,136.11 . PM me with a price (if somewhat BELOW $900).

    Thanks,

    Roger

p.s. Uhhhh, Rick, are you listening. imageimage I might win yet - still 6 weeks to go image

p.p.s. Glen, PLEASE don't look here image
  • 71-P is not as hard especially in a MS66RD I have about a dozen around here somewhere.

What is below $1000, er I see you have edited that to $900?

I meant that IF you were selling it AND you were asking BELOW $900 to PM me with your asking price. Hope it's WAY below $900. Since you got $2,800 for the first one things will even out if this one was around - say - $700??? imageimageimage And isn't $3,500 for the pair MORE THAN FAIR IN RETROSPECT? image Since you know, AS I PREDICTED (did you here that cladking? image), the pops will continue to go up. image
  • "the pops will continue to go up."

As long as I keep looking they will image

  • You'll be able to bid for it on Ebay

Well, that's a bit disapointing. The PCGS price guide places it at about $300.00+ in 66 so I thought I was getting a deal buying one in NGC for about $25.00.
    Oh, well.
