art medals compliment coins perfectly

What a nice companion to coins art medals are. The history, the engraving, the strike are all features of coin collecting. I was hoping that they would be less expensive than coins but not so.image I find myself drawn to them powerfully and will be looking for them on a regular basis (hint to forum members with anything to sell). Naturally, a few names stand out including of course, Roty. This medal is one I discovered this morning-how beautiful!image

    Man, Goetz is pretty harsh on those politicians.image As always, and thankfully so. On the other hand, his rendition of the lady is downright scary.

    And now to the beauty of la differance....OOOOHHHHHHHH!!!!!! Wow. I'm glad I don't have the money to get involved with medals too.image
