I thought you were up to something...you've been real quiet lately.
That's one heckuva 69-S BTW....find it in your pocket change or what?

Must be a boring worthless series as the top participants want to hide their sets. Must be nothing to be proud of. Love the excuse, he does it so why can't I. Maybe OnRutton hides his set because you do!

There are 69 non-viewable Lincoln registry sets of which 11 (of my 12) are mine. So that leaves 58 others sets non-viewable. I bet those people would like the same respect for the choice they made (for whatever reason) as you would like for the right to offer your often minority opinion (which I ALWAYS welcome BTW).
p.s. whether you know it or not or beleive it or not, opening your sets CAN (not for everyone but for some) cost you THOUSANDS.
p.p.s. I DON'T beleive in (i.e. it is a bad thing NOT that it doesn't exist) majority tyranny. I DO beleive in NOT ostracising (?) people for making a choice they have a right to make.
Roger, as you've said, you have every right to keep your sets closed. Having said that, it is very natural that people who are interested in the Registry and in seeing what top pop sets contain, will critisize those who do not show. Stewart was "forced" to open some of his sets in order to get his Hall of Fame designation (which I don't think is right either), but in my opinion, this whole registry thing should be more about completion and less about high scores (competition). The emphasis should be on % of completion of a set, not on "points". But then, that is probably a minority opinion. Steve
Your prediction has come true. Congrats on a wonderful accomplishment. May I suggest that you copy off a picture and have it framed, you never know when the winds of change will come through again. Nice job!
Don't go getting too comfortable...all OnRutton has to do is upgrade 95 coins (not counting varieties) and you're back in second place.
With the way this set is weighted if both of y'all keep going its going to be impossible for anyone else to do better than third soon...

How many of the other people come here and create threads hyping their sets? They keep them hidden, and don't talk about them. If you want to brag about your set, you should open them up. If you don't want anyone to view them, then quit coming here talking about them.

It would be very nice if we could see your set don't you think?

If you have a non-viewable set you're not allowed to create a thread regarding it on the registry forum.
