What does everyone think of this rare 1893-O Morgan? I think she is original, and would grade XF+. She does, however, have a small rim ding on the obverse at 5:00. The PCGS value jumps from $260 in XF to a whopping $715 in AU, so any little problem translates to a BIG price problem. The eBay link is: 1893-O XF AU Morgan Dollar Very nice 11103.

look I don't want to be tell how to collect but you should be careful paying that much for a raw XF organ but PCGS is pretty forgiving on morgans

I usually only buy certified when the price is $100 or more. This particular date and mintmark is so hard to find certified in my price range that I have to look at raw. That's why I'm asking for opinions. All raw ones I buy with getting them certified by PCGS in mind. Also, the seller is offering a money back guarantee, and I have dealt with him before.

As long as 70% of the luster remains, I don't think you should have too much trouble getting an AU from pcgs (provided it's not harshly cleaned). Rim ding's a little scary, but it doesn't look too bad. Decent strike for a 93-O.
