Some board members have some with even crazier toning than that. The .999 silver is very reactive.

Weight in here JBStevens with that beauty of yours.

I like the reverse on the one in the auction but the obverse doesn't do much for me.

I like Jeremy's. Do you know what causes that rectangular patch on a couple of them?

Here's one that toned in a patriotic red, white, & blue and if you look close the tone pattern makes an image of Elvis:

Ive seen quite a few of the rainbow toned SAE's at one of the dealers I go to .. Now what I havent seen any of other then one I sold about 6 or 8 months ago are copper colored ones The one I sold was a 2000 or 2002 I forget but now I have a 87 the the same color with the rim starting to turn reddish blue. If you all remember I have 11 total SAE's In different places in my apartment. Its an experiment to see how different things effect the toning and the rate of toning.

Well none of the ones I have stashed around have toned even in the slightest. But the 2 that have just been sitting around have toned the one I sold and the 87 which I still have. Its kinda weid the ones I want to tone are so far flops and the ones I dont give a hoot about have turned.

All in all does anybody think these will bring the prices we see that the morgans get. Or are these just a momentary flash on the value meter????

I just saw a real rainbow toned one...one with actual rainbow colors and every color of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple) not just purple, blue and red. I never saw one like that, all the ones I have seen are like the ones on this thread (very pretty) but all similar with the purples, blues and reds.

I tried like heck to buy it, but with zero luck. I need to try and get a picture of it at least. I don't think he is a board member. But next time I see him I'll see if he can let me borrow it.
