Anybody want a great Battle of the Marne medal?

Here's a chance on a mint example of Legastelois' Battle of the Marne. Everybody loved mine and this one should go for much less than the record $180 he quotes. I got mine for $51 -- in its original case -- and that was a fluke price, but a near mint example cost me only $36. I would hazard a guess that this one should go for about $75-85 ... but this is eBay.

  • Nice piece. It would go nicely with the book I'm reading now on the diplomatic history of July, 1914...but mom's 80th is next week and I'll be out of town.image

My poor lightside type collection (just five coins away from completion) will never, I'm afraid be added to again now that medals are starting to interest me as much as coins. Askari, you are a tempter-get thee behind meimage

Real nice one and very tempting but I too may have to pass because of Eddie VII.
