1 down. 127 to go...

After looking for the last couple years for a supposedly common Taiwan 5 dollar coin, I finally found this circulated YR62 a few days ago. I was happy to have in off the list.

Today I received a lot that had two Taiwan 5 dollars, a YR54 and the other didn't have a date listed in the auction. Bingo! It's a YR63 (the other date struck in Philly). image

Lucky you!! The Taiwanese don't seem to have saved their 5 dollar coins much. They're often about as hard to find as a Kennedy half.

  • I'm getting there, jester. A better title would have been 281 down, 127 to go... Or 1 more down... image

Bruce, thanks for the offer. I only needed 1973 or 74 for my set, though. Those were the years they were struck in the US.

Yeah, it's a nice choice BU, Roy (better than the picture in person). It was kind of like winning the 80 cent coin lotto! Btw... Is this some thing you collect?
