    I take it the grades are on a 10-point scale? Any problem with AC -- artifically colored -- comics?

    10 is a perfect mint, 9 is a near mint issue. Yes, one can get Bodybags for damaged and or missing pages..... incomplete books...

    they are checked under certian lighting for artificial coloring which would result in a restored label which has a less value. Many of the Golden Age Superhero books are restored and pressed in this manner...

    Does Collectors Universe certify comic books, or do you have to go somewhere else for that? I don't know of many people who collect them besides gmarguli and braddick.

    CGC is across the street....... Collectors Universe, your missing out on a really big and growing market.... CGC even has a Registry and pop reports for these.... Just like coins....

    Well, you got me, thought it/them was/were Franklins. No better comic book than Archie and Vernoica, etc. Thanks Lucy for reminding me of days gone by. I read all of them in the 50's and 60's.
