Today's YN project
Today, I was the classroom volunteer for my 4 1/2 year old son's preschool. After reading them an exhaustive and exhausting picture book version of the new Disney movie, Brother Bear, I broke out the coins. We talked about my son's state quarter collection, I passed around some regular pocket change (typical denominations only, named the Presidents, etc.), then some obsolete coins (a Morgan dollar, Buff nickel, Liberty nickel, Merc dime, Standing quarter, Barber and Walker halves, and a Peace dollar). After answering a variety of questions on coins and money, I gave to each of the 18 children an Indian penny. They seemed to love it. I guess you cannot start them too young!

Gave my three young nephews each a slider Morgan dupe from my collection the last time I was home. I commend you on what you did.
I would be more than happy to send you an Indian penny.
Supercool work
If I had one, I would give you one. And no, I will not be handing out Dahlonega $5's next year for the kindergarten class.

Really?
I say, hook 'em when they're young. It works for cigarettes.
Funny that you should mention cigarettes...on my way to his class, which is adjacent to the high school, I saw a few kids smoking cigarettes and was amazed. With all the data and propaganda out there, it shocked me to see kids that look like they were twelve (they were probably sixteen) smoking cigarettes on high school property. Amazing!

Ahhh... welcome to my world
And of course, 1ft from school grounds (if not in the parking lot, too) is the daily smoking gang, which meets rain or shine...
