I like the 1947 1 Balboa. A closeup of that one would be nice.

My Krause has the 1953 Balboa, mintage of 50,000 at $30. in Unc. Man, the darkside is great. What would a 50,000 mintage US coin cost?

Nice set. I think the 1932 1/2 Balboa has increased in value over the past 3-5 years.

  • congrats!! Very nice set. image But finished??? Now you get to search for those elusive upgrades!! image
BTW, if you are looking for a new area to pursue, don't bother with South Africa Coppers, they are worthless and not very attractive. image

E-Bay! There is a seller that had Dansco make albums from the origional design from the 70's!

Here is the auction, they are now going cheap!!!

Thanks for the info Marty, I was actually hoping to find a lead on type albums for Great Britain and France.

I don't see a 1979 100 Balboa "Tortega de Oro" proof coin. Surely no type set is complete without one.

Hmm.....it just so happens that I have one........ image

Seriously though, nice collection. I didn't realize Dansco(?) made an album for Panama.
