Any Expert's on $5 Proof GAE's Mintage

tgilliams

The Redbook lists the mintage of the 1999-W $5 Proof GAE @ 19,919. That's over 40% lower than 1997 @ 35,164.

Is this correct?

And has the mintages for 2000-2002 been released?

Thanks

I haven't seen the figures for the 2002 or 2003 but the mintage on the 1999-W $5 is correct. It's the lowest proof gold mintage of the series. A lot more scarce than some people think.

Thank Larry, looks like I got a pretty good deal @ $95.

Tom,

I would buy them all day long at that price! Nice job.
