How many here actively collect graded cards for this set? I haven't noticed a lot of activity on these through ebay lately and am wondering if prices are slowing down.
There is one seller who consistently has several graded cards from this set (4's, 5's and 6's) for sale but they either don't sell or sell very cheaply. This may be more an unwillingness of buyers to purchase through this seller. I'm tempted to do a BIN through him but don't want to deal with the hassle I went through when he purchased some cards from me. Outside of him there aren't a lot out there right now.

about the 54's, the prices for 8's have dropped recently, from and average of almost $400 to around $225 for a common. i believe this is because the hardcore collectors of this set already have the cards. there are only a handful of people putting together the set in psa 8+ (very cost prohibitive at $25000 for an all 8 set), and the other set collectors seem happy putting together a 6-7 set. of course, this isnt true when a low pop 8 or 9 comes up. in the last year ive seen the last card in the set in PSA 8 sell for $850, and a PSA 9 Paul Ronty sell for $1345.
ditto on MR Yriza of many e-bay id's; i would avoid, most have come to regret having crossed paths with him, or so it seems. I am surprised that PSA let's him participate in the set registry.
