    What is the purity of the gold in this piece? It looks pretty greenish-yellow to me which is indicative of lower purity.

    Wow! A year ago, the whole proof set was valued at less than that.

    Not surprising though, there are only 300 possible sets out there.

    Once the deep pockets collectors get wind of this one, it'll be gone. If I was as rich as my company's CEO, it would be as good as sold.

    BRM gold purity standard for coinage and medals (since 1817? or earlier?) that I am aware of is 22K.
