I have been on a picture blitz lately and finally got a good picture of my proof IHC.

67 dcam with the best cameo contrast I've ever seen on a proof, classic or modern.

Yep

Wow, some killer proofs! One of my faves:

boiler78 · November 12, 2003 4:29AM

Paul- Nice cameo on that 1862!

Is it labeled as such?

shylock · November 12, 2003 4:42AM

Mark -- it was slabbed before they attributed CAM Indian cents. It's the Heathgate PR65 (now 66) from Goldberg's Benson I 2001 if you went to that auction.

Russ · November 12, 2003 5:01AM

Did somebody mention proof Indian Head Cents?

Russ- Very sweet! That almost looks fattening!

airplanenut · November 12, 2003 5:27AM

Don't know if it's my favorite... but I love the design... and the picture

FrattLaw · November 12, 2003 5:37AM

Just picked this up @ the Heritage Sign. Sale in NYC. The cameo is stronger in person and the mirrors are nice and watery! Heritage pics are horrible!

I do like St Olaf (or whoever that is) killing the rabid squirrel in cameo.

mine is my icon (icoin)

Russ,
COOL IHC!!!!!!!!

ccr · November 12, 2003 11:53AM

I`ve showed this plenty of times and the scan doesn`t do it justice.

This Ike has a very strong, but not overbearing, coffee brown toning that evenly covers both sides. I have only a small handfull of proof coinage and I like them all. This one is easily my favorite.

CoinAddict · November 12, 2003 12:04PM

Here is my favorite proof design that I can afford at this time.

ConstellatioCollector · November 12, 2003 12:32PM

Sorry, I was going to post a coin but realized I didn't have the coin's image.

I have too many favorites to pick one. But, here is one, a raw coin that went PR-67 at Newport Beach ...

Nothing like Gold Matte Proofs

Here's a couple of my fav's, the 1864-L proof IHC in Al. Picked it up this summer at the ANA. The 1857 is a 65Cam that upgraded from a 64 at the same show
