I need some picture help ....PLEEEEEEEZE!!!

I want to eventually add photos to my Registry set. I am using Adobe PhotoDeluxe Business Edition. I dont know too much about Photoshop, but the trouble I am having is getting two photos in the same picture.

I have scanned the obverse and reverse of some coins, but I cant seem to get them to be in one photo. I have looked at your photos and they are Awesome!!

If anyone can help.. I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

I use the same software, so you'd think I could help..... but I can't. I'd like to know the answer as well.

I also use Adobe ... isn't it simply a matter of leaving "extra room" in one of the photos -- for example, leaving surplus space to the right of the obverse -- and then dragging the cropped reverse image -- while both files are open -- into the "extra room" to position both in the same image? Also, if you look under help under "stitch," it should provide info on combining two photos ...

I open both photos. Then use file new to make a blank canvas. Then highlight the area of the photos and under edit choose copy then make a box in the new file canvas and under edit use paste into. Then repeat for the second picture. Then crop the final product.

Might be a easier way but I am old fashioned.

OK... When I do this ... there is not enough room in the new rectangle / square to see both pictures. Is there anyway to increase the rectangle / square so that both photos will fit?

I can only see one half of each coin.

Thanks for the help so far.

Yes click on the image tab and then canvas size and increase it.

Or simply create a new image the width/height that encompasses both images, then copy and paste both into the new image...

OK.. almost there.. I am able to put both pictures side by side. However, when I try to upload the image file in the Registry it now says the file size is too big. Is there anyway to decrease the file size without losing resolution?

Click on size and then photo size and adjust downward to inches/pixels that make for an acceptable size image ...

Hey do you guys have photomerge in your adobe edition ? If so all you have to do is click on it and select the two pictures from your files then put them side by side. Is this what you have been talking about here ?

Opps I see you have got it now....never mind. image

Is there a way to post it the same way without putting on the web first?

Either upload it to https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/oldattachments/<put file name here.jpg> or you have to have it uploaded and saved to an external website (if you have one) or to some sort of a folder tat is accessable via the internet (having it located on your computer won't work unless its also awebserver). Easiest way is to just upload to the PCGS site - you have I believe 1MB of storage space to use. Fun when its gets to working isn't it?

PS: Nice score on that 39S quarter!!!!
