Fingerprints/Grade Guarantee
I have an MS67 Washington quarter that seems to have developed a big honkin' fingerprint on the reverse. I have had the coin about 2.5 years, and I can't remember now, but I would swear it wasn't there when I got the coin. Would PCGS grade a coin 67 with a big fingerprint on it? Do you think I could get any satisfaction under their guarantee?
Unfortunately, I don't have a photo to show you.

There was a big discussion about a ms67 Jack Lee Morgan that had a big honkin' fingerprint on it and a dealer that wanted to have it dipped to take the fingerprint off.
edited to add it might have even been a ms68 that was being discussed.

The only way to know for sure would be send it in for grade guarantee review.

Yeah, good-luck on that one......
