Kointains

Someone else mentioned Kointains, which I think are great. It got me thinking about another storage concern I have. I know it's bad to store coins long term in PVC flips, but what if the coins are in a Kointain, and then inside a PVC flip? Can the PVC get through the Kointain and into the coin?




Actually, for me the point is academic because I recently switched over to all non-PVC flips. Of course, the PVC flips are nicer and easier to use. Was this change necessary, or am I just paranoid?

I think it is safe to keep a coin in a Kointain in a PVC flip. But why take the chance? I keep mine in Kointains and Mylar flips.
