Euro question

I've heard that over in the EU they are considering doing away with the 1 & 2 euro cent coins and are going to round up the prices, I've also heard they are thinking about doing away with the 1 & 2 euro coins and making euro notes to make up for them. Are they seriously looking into these ideas or are they just ideas and suggestions?
If they do end up doing away with those 4 euro coins what kind of impact do you think that would have for those of us that collect euros?

Hmmm. I haven't read anything about that, but "rounding up" the small change isn't a bad idea. Certainly not here in the US, where cents and nickels are nothing more than sales tax change. It would definitely make sense to round everything up to a dime. As far as replacing 1 and 2 Euro coins with bills goes, I seriously doubt it. Coins stay in circulation much longer than notes, and are simply more cost-effective.
