While we're all waiting for the new book, why not make it a little interesting?
Here's the game - guess the date my copy of the second volume of the fourth edition of the Cherrypickers' Guide will arrive, and win a variety coin featured in the book.
Post your guess here, deadline will be noon Thursday, November 13. Oversize packages are marked by my Post Office with the date of arrival, that will serve as the winning date, regardless of when I actually take delivery. If no one gets the exact date, the closest guess wins. In the event of a tie the winner will be chosen randomly from the closest guesses. Anyone involved in the actual publication of the book is ineligible.
The prize is a well-circulated 1941-S Mercury Dime RPM#1, listed as FS-10¢-010.6. Here's a pic of the actual coin the winner will receive:

May the best prognosticator win!

Interesting range of guesses so far. I would like to thank those of you who picked dates in November and December for specifying the year

I'm starting to think the book is just an urban legend.

And that may be looking iffy
