More picture experimentation

I have had an ongoing series of experiments with coin photography. I now have 3 halogen lights and just got a copy stand. I think that the spot lighting produces a rather harsh contrast and brings out all of the flaws in the coins. I have heard of using tupperware as a diffuser for the light and may try that soon. this is my best output with the present setup. The coin looks better in person and grades MS64, but you can sure see all of the defects.

The good news is that anyone buying one of your coins based on these photos will LOVE you. For once there will be truth in the often used statement "image doesn't do the coin justice".

To be honest, I would not hesitate to bid on such a coin based on this picture. By studying it, you can deduce that most of the marks are actually scuffs with the exception of the long mark just behind the nose (thus the grade MS64). The luster looks great!
