1870 S3 IHC DDO/DDR - finally found one.

Lakesammman

Only 7 reported to date to the Fly-In club. Was glad to finally get one though not a high grade coin. The primary feature is the DDR, especially wide along the left margin with wide doubling of the denticles and the wreath, especially the "veins" in the leaves.

Nice addition Lakes -- does that leave you 1 coin short of all the major DDO's? I see what you mean about the veins of the leaves, great close-ups.

Congrats! Nice looking coins Lakes.

But wait, what about the 1867 DDO that was just discovered today?

Very pretty coin. Interesting to see varieties that you may not see often.
