The gambler in me loves to buy this kind of stuff. Could be all junk, but I think there will be something worthwhile in there.

    Now comes the fun part - set yourself down with an eye loop and some 2x2's and a Krause book and begin the playing, looking sorting, identifying and just getting involved in the darkside.

    Yeah, that's what I'm really looking forward to, going thru them and learning. Gotta wait till next month on the krause book though since I've already overspent on coins this month, by a couple hundred dollars. Been meaning to buy a greysheet for three months now but end up blowing through the money on coins. image

    I only get paid once a month so it's a challenge. But I'm really gonna have to get the krause because I will be completely lost on this lot without it.

    Thanks for the welcomes everybody. By the way, what's the big deal about Churchill Crown's? Probably a stupid question, but I really have no clue about darkside coins.

    To some, the Churchill crown is the bane of the darkside. To be fair the design is uninspiring, to others it is plain ugly. I personally think that this was one of the best coins that depicts Churchill, he has one of those faces. It also has AN INCREDABLY HIGH mintage.

    So then it seems that there are two distinct camps when it comes to Churchill crowns. Oh well, it seems a lot less pressing than many of the debates on the other side. image

    Don't worry about getting the Churchill crown, it can happen to anybody at a soft moment. It recently happened to me too after years of trying to avoid one.
