Well - it looks like it's in a PCI slab, it's got a dark picture and they only show one side. Pass

It's in a PCI slab. I would pay five dollars for it, no more.

However, if you can deliver one to me in an ANACS MS69 slab, I'll give you that bogus $1350 PCGS price. (FWIW, PCGS 69s sell on eBay regularly for $750-$800, like this one. Anyone feel lucky with a cross? There's an easy $600 for ya'.)

    hey Bonehead

with the premium placed on this commem from MS68 to one notch up and MS69, if you really want one you might consider making your own. given it's a daunting task, the fun involved will be worthwhile for a collector who wants to look at coins. the Washington commem in original packaging comes cheap at shops and shows, around $5-$6 and can be sold easily for $4. there's little loss with coins that don't pass muster and need to be dumped and the issue is common and popular. once you start looking at the coins you'll be able to recognize which ones to take home for closer inspection and which ones to pass on. i have two set aside for submission after i complete my half-dollar Registry set and receive my freebies.

when i look at Washingtons, i focus mainly on high point rub and of course contact marks and unfilled planchet flaws. if i find a coin absent those, i'll only consider keeping it if it has no unaided sign of die polish in the fields.

before deciding to spend $600++++++ on this issue in MS69, you might want to give pause. it has been priced very high in my mind for quite some time while the PCGS graded population has risen steadily. when the number was less than 10 it held at close to $1500 and now the number of coins in MS69 PCGS holders is above 40 and the price is slightly less than half. either there are many, many collectors waiting in line for an MS69 1982-D Washington commem or the price hasn't corrected down to reflect the actual number of coins.
