someone got a serious deal

In my opinion...jefferson guys whats your take?

heritage 71 no s

this price saddens me. Im ready to sell mine (same grade, pcgs) and I think actually feel this coin shouldve pulled alot more than it did. My opinion says 1300-1500. I attribute this to being looked at and recieving joke bids on ebay as usual. Floor bidders I guess just werent interested.

Don't forget to add 15-20% for the buyers fee that I am sure was taken into consideration by the bidders. So if the guy bought it on ebay he was looking at paying $1,250 and at the next bid increment it would be over $1,300. mike

oh I didnt think of that.

I wanna put mine out for sale, but itd take a wee bit more than 1100.00 IMHO

anyhow, I dont feel the pops are correct on this either, as mine alone was cracked 2 times for resub.

did you turn in the old tags? If not I think you could increase the value if the population was cut down by a third. mike image

You know 98% of the collectors are looking for DCAM instead of just CAM.The price paid with the juice shouldn't surprise you.

I have one of those. I think mine is DCAM on the obverse. Like that one mine has less frost on the reverse than on the obverse. The pop says 24 with 6 higher in cameo. I'm not sure about DCAM pops. So the price seems reasonable to me.

let me again say I didnt think about the 15%...but then again..who cares.

I know that variety will only increase with the new design.

Carl alot of these (mine included) have that dcam reverse. I know mine isnt a dcam obverse, and Ive only seen 2. As for tags, if i can find them, I will send em in.

The proof set is worth $1050-1100. I have broken half a dozen of these out and the worst one came back 68CAM. Based on this, I would think that anything over the price of the proof set would be OK. BTW, out of the six, I also got two 69CAM and a 69DCAM, so they aren't very hard to make. Just my opinion.
