1987 Donruss Backs ?

I dabble some in this set. I've noticed in my psa cards from this set, that the backs are flipped on some. Is that how they did factory sets vs wax. I've noticed my PSA 10's Rose and Ozzie Smith and most are one way, while only couple 9's are the other way. I've heard it's next to impossible to pull 10's from wax, so I figure the 10 I have must be the factory set versions......

one back (facing left when held upright i believe) was inserted in packs, and the other reverse was inserted in factory sets
